Integrated Construction
Developed collaboratively with Integrated Construction this two-building, multi-bay, industrial arrangement helped form part of a quickly developing area of Squamish, B.C.
The development, located on a small site, aimed to maximize site density and vehicle efficiency. The buildings incorporates warehouse, industrial, and commercial office space occupied by different tenants.
The arrangement meets different types and sizes of industrial tenants, with interior suites that provide users with the opportunity to adapt to market needs through highly flexible space. A design toolkit was developed for the main building elements, derived from piles of basalt slabs prevalent in the area reflecting the mountainous context. Similarly, the finishes took inspiration from the surrounding natural landscape, incorporating wood and earth-toned colours to enhance the project.
